i tried adding a wave modifier to the sea, but becasue of the size of the it, i found it hard to sea any changes when altering the setting, i countered this by remaking a small section of water, and importing a small section of the pier walkway, this gave me a good idea on the setting for the waves, once i was happy with this wave, i then copied the setting for my sea on the pier
